Terms of Service

Sinsonte is in open beta. These terms are written to match that: short, plain, and honest about what's actually true today rather than what we intend to promise once the product is out of beta. By using the app, the website, or any account, you agree to these terms.
Beta, no warranty
Sinsonte is provided "as is", during an open beta, with no warranty of any kind — no guarantee of uptime, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or that a given meeting will process without error. Transcription and diarization make mistakes; the structured summaries, action items, mind maps and other artifacts are a starting point you should read before you send them to anyone, not a finished, liability-free document. We work to keep the service reliable and to fix what breaks, but during beta things will occasionally break. To the maximum extent the law allows, Sinsonte isn't liable for damages arising from using or being unable to use the service.
Your audio and transcripts are yours
You own what you record and what Sinsonte produces from it. We don't claim any ownership over your audio, transcripts or artifacts, we don't license it onward to anyone, and — as stated in the Privacy Policy — no processor we use is allowed to train on it. You're responsible for having the right to record whatever you record: your own meetings and classes are yours to capture, but recording other people is subject to the consent rules of wherever you are, and the app shows you the relevant notice before your first recording.
Deletion is honored
Delete a meeting and it's genuinely gone — audio, transcript segments and artifacts, hard-deleted, not soft-hidden. Delete your account and everything tied to it goes with it. The exact mechanics, including the automated retention window (30 days for accounts that never registered an email, 365 days for registered accounts, configurable per workspace), are in the Privacy Policy — these terms don't restate them, they just promise the same thing in one sentence: if you ask us to delete something, we delete it.
No auto-sending, ever
Nothing Sinsonte produces is sent, shared, or emailed on your behalf automatically. No bot joins your calls, no summary goes out to attendees unless you personally choose to send it, and no one is notified that you're using Sinsonte because we told them. This is a product design commitment, not just a legal disclaimer, and it doesn't change as the product grows.
Pricing during beta
Sinsonte is free to use during the open beta. There is a pricing ladder designed for when beta ends (Free, and paid tiers above it), but as of this writing it is not enforced — no card is required, no charge happens automatically, and no plan silently starts billing you. When pricing enforcement does turn on, we will tell current beta testers in advance, never surprise anyone with a charge, and honor the honest-billing commitments on the pricing page (cancel in one tap, no hidden annual default, usage visible before you record).
Acceptable use
Use Sinsonte for your own meetings, classes and consultations, or ones you have a legitimate right to record. Don't use it to record someone without the legally required consent in your jurisdiction, to harass or surveil someone, to violate someone else's privacy or intellectual property, or to attempt to break, overload or reverse engineer the service. We can suspend or terminate an account that does any of this.
Changes to the service and these terms
Because this is a beta product, features, limits and these terms can change as we learn from real use. If we change something material in these terms, you'll see the updated date at the top of this page and, for anything that meaningfully affects you, we'll tell you by email or an in-app notice before it takes effect — the same commitment the Privacy Policy makes.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Colombia. Any dispute that can't be resolved directly between you and us is subject to the jurisdiction of the Colombian courts.
